TO INDULGE or not to indulge?
When the body is hungry, give it what it wants: nutrients. More often than not, we oh-so modern people find ourselves trying to make our lives easier, more practical and do the best we can to “simplify, simplify, simplify” which is actually my ethos, there’s no reason not to. While planning our days and to-do lists helps us stay accountable and reach our goals, I’m a firm believer in meal-planing too, or in this case, “snack-planning.”

Dates are the base of this recipe — considering they’re nature’s caramel — one or two max get the job done when it comes to satisfying the craving. Even though most of the calories in dates come from sugar, these are a great source of fiber, copper, manganese and potassium, making it, well... the perfect snack.
